Blog 4: My non-human best friend.
Ying is a black and white dog, he is like 4 years old now, and he is huge, He's like 40-45 kilos. He looks scary because of his size but he is the sweetest dog in the earth. I found him and his two sisters on the street when in 2015, they were just babies. At that time, I used to pick cats and dogs of the streets, take them to the vet if they needed and then gave them in adoption. My parents started to get pissed after a while because the house was full of animals that they didn't want, so when I went home with three puppies they wanted to kill me, but I promised that I would found a home for each one of them. And I did, but Ying was adopted by an old man who couldn't take care of him anymore, so Ying came back to my house. My parents were like "Victoria you have to find him a new place, he is too big and our house is too small" and that was my purpose, but the days became weeks, and the weeks became months, and everyone fell in love with him because he has a really unique personality, and even when he is huge he is not aggressive, something that made him really easy to like. Suddenly, everybody in my neighborhood knew him and treated him nice, and we get close because both of my parents worked, so I was at home alone with him, and that's how he became my confident and my best friend. We could play for hours or sleep together like babies. He was the happiest being when I arrived home. BUUUUUT, after like a year and half, one of my dad's friends needed a big dog to take care of his house, and he had a big backyard, so my dad thought that Ying would be better there. He lives there now, but they allow me to take him for a walk once or twice in a week, and he still recognize me and get excited when he sees me. I know it sounds weird, but I fell like we are connected or something, even when he is not around anymore.
